Job Description
The volunteer coordinator is a member of the interdisciplinary team who is responsible for representing the volunteers and advocating for volunteer services, identifying the need for volunteers, matching volunteers with patients and families, and assigning volunteers.
Job Requirements
Prior hospice or experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in person with volunteers, patients, and families.
Reliable transportation and day travel required.
