VOLUNTEER Become a Volunteer!

The City of Burlington Fire Department is a combination fire department comprised of volunteers, part-time, and full time staff. The department operates in one centrally located fire station with three engines, a 75 feet quint, a 100 feet tower ladder, a utility truck and 2 ambulances.

Volunteer firefighting is a very rewarding and valuable way to serve your community. It takes dedication and many hours of training to become a firefighter. If you are over the age of 18 and you're willing to put in the time and effort, we are actively seeking individuals interested in serving their community.
