ABOUT THE ROLE 

Our Assistant Account Executives (AAEs) play a crucial role in expanding our impact by building relationships with political organizations, government agencies, and advocacy-driven brands. This role is ideal for someone passionate about civic engagement, public affairs, and digital media. 

AAEs will gain hands-on experience in three key areas: Sales, Media Strategy, and Client Services. Over 12 months, they will work alongside senior team members to identify new business opportunities, craft strategic media campaigns, and develop meaningful client relationships. At the end of the program, AAEs will transition into one of these teams based on their strengths and career interests. 

This position is perfect for highly motivated, mission-driven individuals who want to use digital advertising as a tool to drive civic participation, public policy awareness, and community engagement. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Identify and reach out to quality prospects, including political campaigns, government agencies, and advocacy organizations. 
• Assist senior team members in developing custom media strategies for public impact campaigns. 
• Work alongside senior team members to support the full sales cycle from outreach to campaign execution, ensuring advertising solutions meet client goals. 
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in political and public sector digital advertising. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Media Strategy, and Client Services teams to drive campaign success and exceed client expectations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s Degree – Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred 
• Minimum 3.3 GPA 
• Passion for civic engagement, advocacy, or political media. 
• Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven sales environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience in lead generation, sales, political campaigns, or advocacy marketing. 
• Familiarity with digital advertising, public affairs, or political media strategy. 
• A track record of community involvement, campaign work, or grassroots organizing.
