Job Description

THE POSITION:
Contribute to new business opportunities within the V&E team through your existing network of business contacts that can be activated to generate significant new business for HEOR activities including health technology assessment (HTA) activities, systematic reviews, global value dossiers/AMCP dossiers, health economic models (e.g., BIMs), indirect treatment comparisons and other HEOR statistical work. Your network should be capable of significantly expanding our new business each year, complementing the substantial revenue already projected by our existing team.
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) on the V&E team to present opportunities to prospective clients, optimize proposal and capabilities presentations, work through the RFP process, and efficiently close the deals.
Engage with major clients’ procurement to set up Master Service Agreements, assist with the negotiation of preferred rates. You will further ensure that we are on the preferred supplier/vendor list of various clients and that we are the regular recipients of RFis and RPFs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating and implementing a strategic business development plan, defined by time and quarterly success metrics, to bring in new business
Generate and report sales performance on a monthly, weekly and

ad hoc

nature
Build and expand EVERSANA presence within named market sectors and pre-defined accounts; focus of selling is on traditional HEOR deliverables including global value dossiers, AMCP dossiers, economic models, systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparisons and network meta-analyses and other HEOR-related statistics work
Leading business development, primarily through sourcing RFPs and implementing workflow of the overall RFP process (i.e., with SMEs, procurement, leadership)
Supporting repeat business activities with SMEs, who are seller-do-ers.
Performing post-mortem analyses in relation to RFP losses
Carry a defined “target” for expected consistent quarterly bookings and revenue achievement
Regularly participating in client meetings, with a focus on capabilities and during the RFP process; participating in work-flow meetings (once project is won), as necessary
Working closely with V&E and cross-functional strategic partners on opportunities, including the Commercial BD team members in EVERSANA
Use own existing network, as well as leveraging V&E current network of clients, to win work
Seeking feedback regarding client satisfaction
Ability to maintain strong client relationships at senior levels, including with HEOR/Market Access procurement
Attending regular strategic management meetings related to business development
Identifying opportunities for and devising strategies to win new business
Liaise with marketing and corporate communications to support the sales process
Continue to actively network in the industry to establish relationships
Plan and coordinate all customer sales activities

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
15+ years of experience selling within HEOR or market access organizations within pharma and a strong track record of success in strategic and/or consultative sales roles.
Has a demonstrated ability to build relationships with executive level decision-makers of target pharmaceutical/biotech companies and leverage them for the purpose of account building.
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Proven track record at developing mid-level-high-level contacts.
Solid understanding of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and HTA (health technology assessment) from a global perspective.
Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strategic business awareness and analytical skills
Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
Ability to maintain demanding timelines
Ability to influence others both internally and externally

Ability to travel as needed.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Office:

While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $205,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
