Description
The Vice President, Contract Logistics Business Development is a key role within the Contract Logistics team and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share and profitability.
What you'll do:
- Managing Business Development Operations within 6-Facilities in So. California and 1-facility in Georgia and expanding within the U.S. National Logistics Market
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Assist in preparing and presenting proposals to clients.
- Strong Microsoft Office/Excel Skills: Ability to create pricing models and proposals, pro-forma models, and pivot tables.
- Strong Administration and Organizational Skills-Attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Retail and Food Grade Logistics experience preferred.
What you'll have:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Contract Logistics Business Development Roles
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Strong Customer Service and commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Travel: Up to 25%
