This position will be a hybrid role out of our Tampa, FL or Austin, TX location.  

How you will contribute

Asure is hiring a VP of Growth Marketing to lead a blended team of marketing-systems architects, AI and automation specialists, and traditional marketers, using the first group to scale the second. You will own growth across new-logo acquisition (SMB, mid-market, and enterprise), product attach and cross-sell, partner marketing, and field events, with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.

You will partner closely with the VPs of Sales to build go-to-market strategies by segment, work with Revenue Operations and the SDR team, and keep the Chief Revenue Officer informed on pipeline and results. We want a leader who has moved beyond prompt engineering to designing AI-enabled systems and pointing them at the motions that already drive revenue.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set a growth strategy that uses AI across the funnel, with clear guardrails and humans in the loop.


• Co-build go-to-market plans with each VP of Sales, and own the marketing-to-sales handoff with Revenue Operations.


• Use data and automation to make new-logo, attach, partner, and event programs faster, broader, and more measurable.


• Lead and coach a mixed team of traditional and technical marketers, including the Marketing Systems Architect.


• Own the demand generation plan, lead nurturing, and the KPIs that feed every sales division.


• Manage the growth budget and marketing technology stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft, Nooks, Gong, ZoomInfo), and decide when to build, buy, or partner.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in B2B marketing, including 4+ years leading teams as a Director or VP of Marketing, Growth, or Demand Generation.


• Hands-on AI experience beyond prompt engineering (knowledge bases, agent workflows, automations), with results you can explain and sound judgment on privacy and compliance.


• A track record of driving pipeline and revenue alongside sales leaders, ideally in B2B SaaS, HCM, payroll, or subscription software.


• Experience supporting more than one go-to-market motion, such as new logo, attach and cross-sell, partner, and events.


• Strong command of funnel metrics, attribution, budgeting, ROI, and marketing automation and CRM platforms.


• The ability to lead mixed teams through coaching rather than mandates, and to present clearly to executives.


• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

What success looks like

• 90 days: a documented operating model and a shared funnel and handoff definition agreed with Sales and Revenue Operations.


• 6 months: measurable gains in sales-ready pipeline, cost per opportunity, and campaign speed.

The base salary range for this position is based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge.  Asure Software offers a variety of employee benefits.
