Job Description - VP of Account Management


The Company:

Our client is a boutique creative consultancy with offices in the U.S., specializing in integrated marketing across social media, public relations, influencer partnerships, and brand strategy. They partner with both national and international brands, primarily in the health, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle space, helping them drive awareness, cultural relevance, and measurable revenue growth. Their approach blends creativity, data, and cultural insight to build impactful, results-driven campaigns.
 

The Role:
They are looking for a Vice President of Account Management to lead and scale their largest client portfolio within the health, wellness, and beauty vertical. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting strategic direction, owning executive-level client relationships, and overseeing cross-functional execution across social media, influencer marketing, PR, paid media, partnerships, and events. This person will play a key role in both client success and overall business growth.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts, ensuring performance against KPIs, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance.
  • Oversee and mentor account management teams, ensuring high-quality execution, team development, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on overall business strategy, client growth opportunities, and new business initiatives.
  • Drive integrated marketing strategies across social media, influencer marketing, PR, paid media, partnerships, and experiential campaigns.
  • Ensure alignment across internal teams (social, PR, creative, influencer) to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead client communications, reporting, and presentations, ensuring clarity, transparency, and impact.
  • Oversee brand partnerships, collaborations, and event activations from concept through execution.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or brand strategy, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong experience working with health, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record managing multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of social media, influencer marketing, PR, paid media, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build long-term relationships.
  • Experience driving business growth through client retention, upselling, and new business development.
  • Highly strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and ability to operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and activations.
