About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Business Development for North America with a focus on the occupational, physical, and hand therapy markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and soliciting strategic customers in both domestic and international dealer divisions. This includes proactive sales solicitation, planning, coordinating, and scheduling activities, as well as budgeting, reporting, and activity documentation. The role involves a significant amount of inside and outside sales, strategic analysis, and planning, and requires a deep understanding of the rehabilitation market, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand therapy, and the various entities within the healthcare industry.Applicants must have at least 15 years of relevant healthcare industry experience, previous inside and outside sales experience, and a strong background in budget preparation and analysis, as well as sales systems and procedures. Knowledge of the rehabilitation market, including private practice, hospitals, federal government, group purchasing organizations, and distribution channels, is essential. The VP of Business Development will also be expected to have experience with ERP and CRM systems, a solid understanding of sales principles and processes, and the ability to coordinate activities with management and other departments. The position is remote and requires a home office with high-speed internet and full video conferencing capacity.
