VP of Crop Protection & Seed - Central Indiana

This position is responsible for managing the application of crop nutrients and crop protection products, as well as the maintenance of custom application vehicles and equipment. This is a high-level position and you can expect a generous compensation package.

Job Duties

• Use math skills to calculate chemical mixes per blend sheet specifications and ensure proper calibration of fertilizer and spraying equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and suppliers.
• Assist with daily operations at locations, which may include receiving, loading, and delivering products along with treating seed.
• Manage employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree. Post-secondary schooling is desirable. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, handle exposure to weather conditions, and work extended seasonal hours.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification.
• Previous experience operating and servicing farm machinery.
• Farming background or experience with the application of crop protection products preferred.
