This is a growing manufacturing company who is looking for someone to join their team as they scale and grow the business. They need an HR expert to join the team to implement HR systems across their US teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the national HR team, driving strategic and functional HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align human capital strategies with business objectives, including measurable KPIs for talent management.
- Foster high-trust relationships across the organization and translate company objectives into individual and departmental goals, supporting career development and succession planning.
- Champion a values-driven culture; design recruitment, development, and retention strategies to secure top talent.
- Act as the primary contact for significant employee escalations and provide expert advice on employee relations and performance management issues in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
- Spearhead employee engagement and culture initiatives to maintain organizational health and drive cross-functional projects to enhance HR functions.
- Lead the automation and standardization of HR processes and systems.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational changes.
- Manage comprehensive recruitment, payroll, and benefits programs.
- Inspire and develop HR teams to ensure role clarity, performance, and collaboration while advocating for training and development opportunities.
- Oversee effective succession planning and performance management processes, maintaining competitive compensation and benefits structures.
- Ensure legal compliance across all HR practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Provide leadership to global HR teams ensuring consistent company culture and values.
- Manage relationships with key HR vendors and provide HR metrics for executive review.
- Construction or Manufacturing industry experience
- VP of HR or HR Manager experience level managing all aspects of HR (benefits, payroll, compliance, HRIS system management, process creation and improvement, etc.)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of HR experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments; manufacturing or construction background preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms like Workday.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships both locally and globally.
- Capable of thriving in a global, fast-paced setting and managing multiple priorities.
- Comprehensive knowledge in organizational design, talent development, and employee relations with a strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
