A vertical SaaS company backed by a major, established operator in the home improvement industry is hiring a VP of Product.

About the Role

You'll own the launch of a unified, AI powered platform with a large flagship customer transitioning off legacy systems, then turn that into a repeatable platform for the broader industry. This role has a heavy focus on go to market strategy and onboarding ownership, tight partnership with engineering leadership, and staying hands on with real users in the field.

Responsibilities

• Own the end to end launch of a unified, AI powered platform for a large flagship customer moving off legacy systems
• Translate the flagship rollout into a repeatable, scalable platform model for the broader industry
• Partner closely with engineering leadership to align roadmap, architecture, and delivery timelines
• Lead go to market strategy for new platform capabilities, including positioning, sequencing, and rollout planning
• Own onboarding strategy and execution, ensuring smooth transitions for customers migrating from legacy systems
• Stay hands on with real users in the field to gather feedback and inform product direction
• Build and mentor a product organization capable of scaling with the company's growth
• Define and track product success metrics tied to adoption, retention, and customer outcomes
• Act as a key voice in company wide strategy discussions, representing the customer and product perspective

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall product experience, including 4+ years leading product organizations
• Proven track record shipping complex B2B or vertical SaaS platforms into incumbent, legacy heavy operations
• Experience owning a major platform launch or migration for a large, high stakes customer
• Strong go to market instincts, with direct experience shaping launch and onboarding strategy
• Demonstrated ability to partner tightly with engineering leadership on roadmap and execution
• Comfort operating hands on with end users, not just at the strategic level
• Experience building and scaling product teams
• Background in home improvement, field services, or similarly operations heavy verticals is a plus
