VP, Scientific

MEDiSTRAVA, the Specialized Services team within Inizio Medical, brings together best-in-class expertise from across medical affairs, market access, patient engagement, digital innovation and analytics, real world evidence generation and HEOR, and corporate communications to provide fully integrated strategic support for our biopharma partners from start-up to commercialization and beyond.

Our success has led to continued expansion both in the range of services we offer and our global presence. We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic VP, Scientific Partners.

The VP, Scientific Partners will be the key scientific lead on a particular account, providing editorial, scientific and strategic expertise to our client teams.

Working in partnership with Client Services, you will help to establish a cohesive and dynamic relationship between the accounts and editorial teams and the client, leading discussions in client meetings / teleconferences (as required) to ensure client satisfaction is maintained at all levels.  

In this role, you will have management responsibility for a team of scientific staff across different levels of seniority, potentially based across several regions globally.

To succeed you will have an advanced degree in the life sciences, (PhD, MD or PharmD required) and extensive experience in communications agencies encompassing a broad range of medical communications deliverables and therapeutic areas, particularly  oncology. Expertise in metabolism/obesity and neuroscience is welcomed. You will have experience in creating and executing publication plans and managing and tracking project budgets. You will have well-developed strategic, business development and scientific writing skills with proven leadership experience and the ability to effectively line manage a medical writing team.
