As a VP, Senior Underwriting Director – Energy Casualty Power & Renewables, you will take ownership of a dynamic portfolio of complex new and renewal business, while serving as a trusted subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping our Power & Renewables strategy—bringing insights, influencing portfolio direction, and driving profitable growth.
This role offers an incredible market-facing opportunity to strengthen and expand key broker and client relationships across the U.S., positioning Zurich as a partner of choice in the energy transition. You will lead from the front—combining underwriting excellence, commercial acumen, and relationship-building to deliver differentiated outcomes.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $175,000.00 - $280,000.00, with Global Specialty Incentive Plan bonus eligibility set at 50%.
