Job Summary:
Provides administrative and logistics support to program manager(s) and program leader(s) to manage, develop, and implement VPI program deliverables that meets needs of customer and business.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as a resource to maintain databases and records for Value Package Introduction (VPI) program(s). Assists in defining tangible and measurable customer expectations and business outcomes, and supports the program(s) to achieve both. Assists in determining the scope, schedule, and resources with key cross functional, cross-Business Units, and external stakeholders, and obtaining stakeholder commitment and approval of the program contract. Assists in ensuring adherence of the program(s) to Value Package Introduction (VPI) process. Assists in tracking and communicating performance against the program contract with internal stakeholders as appropriate. Assists identification and resolution of program risks, issues, and changes. Assists cross-functional identification and resolution of program contract changes (scope, schedule, resources).Runs the VPCR process with customers including responding to VPCs. Runs small VPC projects independently.

Job Skill Requirements:
- Project Management experience – work is in a Program Management Office launching new products. Need to understand how to manage projects and willingness to learn Cummins systems
- Ability to work with a variety of people not all on site – work will require interaction with co workers in other countries and the person must be able to communicate effectively and gain alignment and agreement from others in the organization that may be higher levels
- Manufacturing experience – Work will be to launch new products being manufactured. Experience in this environment will be helpful in understanding project scope.

U.S. Early Careers Eligibility Requirements:
Exempt Entry Level: Designed for external candidates within 2 years of completing their highest level of degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or JD) from an accredited U.S. college/university, and currently reside within the continental U.S.
International Student Eligibility (U.S. based roles): F-1 visa students must have approved Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Occupational Practical Training (OPT) before their Early Career assignment begin.
