Job Title: VPK Assistant Teacher

Location: Valrico, Florida

Job Type: Full-Time (School-Year, 10-Month Position)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday)

Start Date for Position: August 1, 2025

We are seeking a VPK Assistant Teacher to join our team at our School for Limitless Learning in Valrico, Florida! Our inclusive school uses a play-based curriculum to support young children  who are neurodiverse or have related disabilities during their critical developmental years.

Responsibilities:

• Support a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

• Assist with lesson planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum

• Supervise children to ensure health and safety at all times

• Maintain positive and effective communication with families

• Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff members

• Assist in screening and assessing children’s development and learning needs

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Preferred:  Florida Staff Credentials

------------Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC)

------------Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC)

------------National CDA/NECC

------------Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development

• Completion of Florida DCF 45-hour Child Care Training

• CPR and First Aid Certification (current)
