VTC Field Support Specialist

What you will be doing!
As a VTC IT field support Specialist, you will support our end-user community by providing Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote support for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices including personal computers, thin clients, network interface cards, phones, monitors, printers, and other communication devices such as pagers and radios.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems, and subsystems; install and configure software at customer and field locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software for end-user equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through effective support and service

• High school diploma or GED with four (4) years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with two (2) years of experience.
• 8570 Certification. Security+ is preferred
• Highly skilled in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in working with end-users remotely
• Experienced in remote support for end-users.
• Familiarity with Active Directory security and policies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills to relate with team members and support workers
• Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph to be considered for this role
