Wall Protection Installer

Key
Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install wall protection products
  such as panels, bumpers, corner guards, and handrails according to
  specifications and blueprints.
  
• Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning,
  sanding, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and alignment of materials.
  
• Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut
  materials to fit designated areas using various tools and equipment.
  
• Mounting and Securing: Securely mount and fasten wall
  protection materials using adhesives, screws, and other fastening devices.
  
• Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and
  repair of installed wall protection systems, addressing any damage or
  wear.
  
• Quality Control: Inspect finished installations to
  ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and
  guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to
  understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout
  the installation process.

Requirements

Education
and Experience

1. High school education or equivalent
   or
   
2. One to three months related
   experience and/or training or
   
3. Equivalent combination of education
   and experience
   

Additional
Eligibility Qualifications

1. Valid driver's license
   
2. Reliable transportation and proof
   of insurance
   

Competencies:

1. Ability to read digital and paper
   building plans.
   
2. Ability to track, Manage and report
   on products installed.
   
3. Ability to measure and cut
   materials to fit in specific spaces within specified tolerances.
   
4. Ability to follow written and/or
   verbal directions.
   
5. Ability to work independently and
   with a work crew.
   
6. Ability to use hand tools and power
   tools required for installing wall protection and div.10 products.
   
7. Ability to use construction -related
   digital technology including email, apps and software
   

Physical
Demands

You must be
comfortable working at a variety of job sites where weather and noise
conditions vary and meet the physical demands of the job. Our installers are
frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and
reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The use of Ladders is
also sometimes required, working up to 12’ off the ground and occasional
Man -lift use is required. You will also occasionally be required to sit; climb
or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.
