Wallpaper Apprentice - Grow Into a Specialty Trade

We’re a local painting company looking to add a Wallpaper Apprentice to our crew. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career — especially someone with painting experience or basic prep skills — who wants to specialize in a skilled trade and build a real career, not just another job.

If you’ve worked in painting, sanding, patching, or general job site prep and are ready to take the next step, we’re willing to train the right person in wallpaper installation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working alongside experienced installers on residential and commercial jobs


• Learning wallpaper installation, removal, and detailed wall prep


• Measuring, cutting, matching patterns, and setting materials


• Applying your painting and prep skills to high-end finish work


• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional


• Representing our company well in customers’ homes and businesses

What We’re Looking For:

• Painting experience or familiarity with basic prep work (patching, sanding, priming) preferred


• Interest in specializing in wallpaper and finish work


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn


• Attention to detail and pride in your work


• Dependable and on time (this matters)


• Comfortable with physical work, ladders, and being on your feet


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred


• Positive attitude — advanced skills can be taught
