Wardrobe Assistant - Seasonal

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides excellent guest service by responding to requests for information in a prompt and courteous manner. 


2. Greets all vendors, employees, and guests entering the wardrobe department in a professional manner.


3. Responsible for tracking paperwork related to all uniform assignments and changes.


4. Assists with uniform alterations and repair.


5. Issues tagged wardrobe garments and tracks according to departmental procedure.


6. Assist with tracking of department inventory.


7. Performs daily clerical duties.


8. Performs out processing for termed employee’s and ensures paperwork is completed accurately.


9. Check and repair returned uniform items for re-issue.


10. Perform other special projects, as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.


• Demonstrated experience sewing and ironing. 


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.


• 1-2 years working as an experienced seamstress or similar.


• Experience working in a Wardrobe Department or the Hospitality industry is preferred. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move inventory or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties require manual dexterity with good eye hand coordination and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$18.00 + per hour based on experience.
