As a key contributor to the team, the Warehouse Associate helps load cylinders on vehicles, using a hand truck, chain hoist, or forklift, and records the type and quantity of cylinders. Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, such as dents, cracks, and burns, and moves cylinders to the designated work area. Supports warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations.

• Safely operate forklift and collaborate on loading / unloading compressed gas and liquid cylinders to and from delivery vehicles.

• Identify, sort and palletize cylinders for efficient team refilling and handling.

• Inspect cylinders prior to filling, using standard operating procedures to ensure quality.

• Complete activity / deficiency reports to keep the team informed. Replace safety valves on cylinders.

• Remove and replace labels.

• Receive, unpack, examine, and document incoming shipments.

• Process and/or return damaged goods.

• Move stock to and from shipping and receiving area to storage area. Prepare and route merchandise for shipment.

• Assist in providing excellent counter sales customer service.

• Release daily invoices and complete all required hand written and computer generated documentation on a timely and accurate basis.

• Supports a safe workspace by following all company policies and procedures.
