Summary: The Warehouse and Materials Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse, receiving, inventory control, and material flow operations to support uninterrupted production. This role ensures raw materials, supplies, and finished goods are accurately tracked, properly stored, and available to meet production schedules. The Warehouse and Materials Supervisor partners cross-functionally with production, scheduling, purchasing, and accounting to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize material flow, and prevent production disruptions.

· 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, materials management, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or print production environment
· Solid understanding of materials and stock management principles including cycle counting, FIFO, and stock reconciliation
· Experience using ERP or WMS platforms to manage inventory transactions, material movement, cycle counting, and reporting.
· Experience generating and interpreting materials reports
· Proficient in standard business software including Microsoft Office
· Knowledgeable of warehouse safety standards, OSHA requirements, and best practices for material handling and storage
· Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team, with a hands-on, floor-level management style
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment
· Strong cross-functional communication skills; ability to work effectively with production, scheduling, purchasing, and operations teams
· Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements that reduce waste and improve material flow
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
· Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
Work Environment
This position requires work in an office and production environment. May occasionally be exposed to hazardous materials or near moving mechanical parts while on the production floor.
