Warehouse and Samples Specialist

Position Summary: This position supports daily warehouse and product sample activities under the direction of the Applied Samples Supervisor. The Warehouse and Samples Specialist will receive and organize materials, maintain inventory records, and prepare and ship product samples using established procedures. This position will focus on sample production, with warehouse responsibilities based on business needs

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the ordering of materials and components specific to Adhesives and Samples.

• Leads the inbound/outbound shipping of materials and components to Adhesives and Samples. 

• Prepares equipment, accessories, samples, displays, and demonstration materials, as requested. 

• Manages inhouse inventory, conducts cycle counts, develops real-time inventory reporting for next step decision-making. 

• Oversees the assembly of components into systems in preparation for shipping to various customers. 

• Communicates directly with customers to coordinate the shipping of materials and components. 

• Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by following established company safety standards. 

• Assists customers during the ordering process to determine the best fit component and/or system. 

• Operates forklift to load/unload trucks and store/retrieve shelfed inventory. 

• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent. 

• Minimum of 1 year Shipping and Receiving experiences specifically dealing with inbound/outbound shipping, hazardous materials, labelling, etc. 

• Minimum of 1 year working in manufacturing, specifically in roofing, adhesives, or related industry. 

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience. 

• Demonstrated experience of communicating internally and externally to customers using the following software: MS Outlook and Teams, MS Office Suite

• 5-10% Travel

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience using an enterprise-wide inventory management system (AS400, D365, SAP, etc.)

• Forklift certification.

• DOT Hazmat and OSHA 10 Certifications

   

Position is location on-site daily in Deerfield Beach, FL.  Local candidates only will be considered at this time.
