Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a pick up truck when no helper is needed


• Operate a forklift and other equipment in a safe manner


• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections, and inform Production Manager of any required maintenance to truck, forklifts, or other equipment


• Keep equipment clean and in orderly fashion


• Load trucks according to list of materials on sales order


• Organize and secure each load and physically help drivers unload materials


• Assist with loading and unloading products in the warehouse


• Complete inventory of materials and tools.


• Trouble shot equipment. 


• Communicate with Production Manager to ensure all tasks are complete and customer service is excellent


• Follow all company policies and procedures


• Complete any additional task requested by management

Requirements:

• Maintain a valid driver's license


• Must pass pre-employment drug screen


• Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift/carry/move 100lbs
  


• Organizational skills, ability to do basic math and read a tape measure
