Warehouse Assistant at Warehouse - Join a Market Leader

The Job

The Pacers Running Warehouse Associate will be involved in the daily operation of the warehouse, including order packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and the operation of warehouse equipment and computer systems. The associate must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. They must also have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to follow written and verbal directions.

Essential Functions

• Process FBA orders to Amazon warehouses by preparing stock for outbound shipping, i.e., organizing orders by PO, scanning inventory, labeling, and stacking boxes.
• Fulfill online orders within 24 hours during weekdays, between 9 AM to 5 PM.
• Participate in the inventory control process, cycle counts, and manage the inventory process.
• Assist the inventory manager with follow-ups on customer miss-ships or other errors.
• Be cross-functional in multiple areas of the warehouse.
• Has a clear understanding of the receiving and pulling processes.
•  Use a computer to access the Warehouse Management System, Amazon order fulfillment, and Shipstation.
• The ability to operate warehouse equipment including a push cart, hand truck, manual pallet jack, and electric pallet jack.
• Basic Math Skills.

General Housekeeping

•  Any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
•  Assist warehouse manager in daily warehouse operations per company policy and vision.
•  Ensure inventories are accurate.
•  Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
•  Promote company health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible to work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a personal cell phone.
• Must have a clean driving record. 

The pay rate for this position is $18 per hour.

Workplace + Schedule

This is a part-time position, with the schedule to be determined by the Inventory Manager. You will be working at the Alexandria Saltbox Warehouse.
