Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate at AptDeco is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, loading/unloading, storing, and maintaining inventory according to company policy. This person also ensures that inventory is met with a strong level of attention to detail to ensure loss prevention. 

The Warehouse Associate receives and processes incoming inventory. They also manage and organize products according to company policy to ensure the availability upon request or purchase. The Warehouse Associate also assists in loading and unloading vans and moving inventory within the Warehouse. This role is a part-time position, reports into the Operations Manager and takes direction from the Shift Supervisor. 

• Organize the inventory and Warehouse space ensuring the Warehouse is clean and tidy, daily. 
• Welcome delivery vans back to the Warehouse and receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Maintain the Warehouse Inventory List and update when items are added or go out for delivery. 
• Be responsible for handling inventory with care while entering data into software programs for safe record keeping.
• Abide by company safety policies and regulations. 
• Update internal accounts listings and adjust pricing as needed based on company guidelines. 
• Relist any items for sale as requested by Customer Experience, when applicable.
• Inspect inventory for defects and damages.
• Abide by company safety policies and regulations. 
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Allocate and load inventory slated to be delivered the next day to assigned vans.

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience
• Open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary 
• A proven track record of success in completing projects and tasks on time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
• A strong sense of urgency, team-player attitude, and attention to organization and cleanliness
• The ability to multitask - able to stop on one task, complete another when asked and then go back to complete the original task 

Salary Range: $15 - $20 / hour
