Warehouse Associate

Full Job Description

R&T Staffing has an exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Associate at our distribution center located in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Associate, you will process and ship all outbound orders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)


• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)


• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization


• Complete diary logs into inventory


• Report any discrepancies


• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers


• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment


• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Ability to repetitively lift up to 45 lbs.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Good communication and interpersonal skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience


• Experience using RF scanner or other barcode scanning system


• Customer service experience
