WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Description

S&S Tire & Best One Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer and Commercial Tire Center is seeking to add a Warehouse Associate to our Huntsville, AL location. This position requires manual labor, lifting tires up to 150 lbs. If you are ready to tackle on this challenge, you need to apply today!

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Loads unloads, checks, and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]
• Selects, packs, counts, marks, and palletizes tires of customer orders and places in the assigned staging areas according to bin locator system.
• Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders.
• May Operates order picker, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties.
• Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment.
• Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents.
• Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories.
• Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of tires.
• Maintain compliance with procedures and policies

Position Includes:

• Starting at $16.00/hour pay based on experience 
• Pay increase after 90 days of employment
• Full-time, weekly pay, with frequent overtime
• 7 am to 5:30 pm shift

Requirements

• Desire and ability to work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
• Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
• Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and at minimum 23 years of age 
• Good safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
• Valid driver's license - in good standing
• Forklift license is a plus
• DOT Medical card or the ability to obtain
