Description

Job Summary

A Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide your best effort in all company responsibilities and tasks you are assigned.

· Perform all tasks outlined by the Warehouse Manager including, but not limited to product storage, inventory maintenance and control, picking and packing orders, cleaning and general maintenance and other duties that may be assigned.

· Assist with the maintenance of inventory levels on all products, including accessories, promotional items, cigars, cigar accessories, packing materials and equipment.

· Always work within the spirit of hard work, dedication, loyalty, team play and company support.

· Complete other duties, as may be assigned, to benefit the Company.

· All responsibilities and tasks are to comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

· Possess knowledge of pulling and packing procedures for Holt’s Mail Order

· Assist with the maintenance of inventory levels on all products, including accessories, promotional items, cigars, cigar accessories, packing materials and equipment

· Always work within the spirit of hard work, dedication, loyalty, team play and company support

· Complete other duties, as may be assigned, to benefit the company

· All responsibilities and tasks are to comply with company policies and procedures

Work Content

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally Sitting, Climbing or balancing; The employee is regularly Standing and Walking; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms.

Employee must wear work boots at all times during job performance.

Lifts Weight or Exerts Force Work Environment  

The employee must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds of product

Work Environment

The employee is occasionally working in high, precarious places; The employee is frequently in humid conditions (non-weather); Work near moving mechanical parts.

Experience and Education    

Years of Experience - 1 year of warehouse experience

Education- High School Diploma required

Basic Skills

· Be capable of operating an electric pallet jack and forklift

Knowledge 

Required
