Warehouse Associate

Description

As a Warehouse Associate  you are a valued employee within the organization and are responsible for an area of the business. Warehouse Associates are expected to uphold the values, policies, and strategy of Bald Birds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of all inbound shipments including condition and temperature
• Accurate and efficient order fulfillment with attention to FIFO inventory management
• Accurate documentation of batch numbers and product date monitoring
• Thoroughly inspect trailers and verify driver information
• Maintain communication with Director of Logistics regarding incoming shipments
• Maintain an organized warehouse by following FIFO inventory management
• Ensure client products, materials and finished goods are kept together when possible, to ensure ease of access
• Identify and isolate damaged product to the on-hold area and escalate per SOP guidelines
• Ensure new batches are identified and kept together
• Separate dunnage 

Requirements

 Qualifications and Skills

• Forklift Certification preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stand and twist
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a 
• Physical stamina and lifting ability
• Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Must be able to work in ambient conditions
