Warehouse Associate – Day Shift

Seasonal | $15.00 – $19.00 per hour(Based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Occasional overtime available

Job Summary:
Davis Cartage Co. is seeking a reliable, hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our day shift team in Niles, MI. The ideal candidate will have warehouse or forklift experience and a desire to grow with a well-established logistics company.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks

• Wrap, label, and stage pallets for delivery

• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse

• Communicate order discrepancies to supervisors

• Load pallets onto trucks as needed

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience preferred (certification provided)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physical environment

• Basic knowledge of computer/scan gun use

• Steel-toed boots required

• Willingness to complete Hazardous Materials training

• Positive attitude and team-oriented
