SUMMARY:

The GMP Warehouse Associate will support shipping and receiving activities at the JOINN Biologics warehouse in Richmond, CA. This role will work with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure cGMP compliant warehouse operations in support of JOINN drug product manufacturing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Receive, inspect and prioritize the distribution of incoming raw materials/supplies
• Label and record quantities received for all GMP materials
• Deliver packages/goods to the appropriate storage locations or departments
• Process material request and document all material transfers following established procedures
• Package outbound materials/goods following established procedures and ensure shipping documents are accurate and ready for courier pickup
• Build kits using a kitting bill of material and accurately record all materials used in the inventory system
• Utilize the kanban system to restock and reorder materials
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts and work with Manager to reconcile discrepancies
• Completing and submitting required documentation in a timely manner
• Familiar with following, modifying and implementing SOP’s, Work Instructions and on the job training.
• Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse
• Support procurement and logistics functions as needed

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 pm 

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Well organized with strong written and verbal skills; accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to work under time constraints and be flexible to meet changing deadlines.
• Ability to perform math calculations and documentation
• Proficiency in planning and organizing work efficiently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in GMP raw materials inventory management preferred
• Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAGE, Oracle or SAP)
• Logistics experience (domestic and international) preferred including document preparation and communications with logistics service providers
• Experience using manual and motorized warehouse equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.'
