Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Associate

We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Associate for a small warehouse environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, works well as part of a team, and understands that warehouse upkeep and cleanliness are a major part of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming trucks and shipments
  


• Receive and verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase orders
  


• Inspect products for damage, expiration dates, and accuracy
  


• Put away inventory into designated warehouse locations
  


• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control
  


• Help transition from paper processes to an electronic barcode/RF scanner system
  


• Assist the shipping department during busy periods
  


• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
  

Warehouse Cleaning & Maintenance Duties (Required):

When receiving is slow, employees will be expected to assist with maintaining the warehouse and keeping work areas clean and organized. Duties include:

• Operating an automated warehouse sweeper to remove dust and debris
  


• Breaking down and disposing of cardboard
  


• Wiping down shelves, workstations, and warehouse areas
  


• Taking out trash and maintaining clean workspaces
  


• General housekeeping and warehouse cleanup duties
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience preferred
  


• Ability to lift and move products throughout the shift
  


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  


• Comfortable performing both warehouse labor and cleaning duties
  


• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
  


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  


• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required
  

This position is best suited for someone who understands that keeping a warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently is just as important as shipping and receiving responsibilities.
