ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a high-volume Amazon FBA and multi-marketplace e-commerce operation running roughly 1,650 active SKUs out of our Bethlehem warehouse. The Prep & Pack Associate gets inbound product inspected, prepped to Amazon's exact requirements, and shipped out accurately and on time. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where consistency and attention to detail directly protect our seller account health.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and check in inbound shipments against purchase orders; flag shortages, overages, and damage.
- Inspect units for quality, expiration dates, and condition before prep.
- Prep product to FBA requirements: poly bagging, bubble wrapping, taping, bundling, suffocation-warning labeling, and multi-pack assembly.
- Apply FNSKU labels accurately — the right label on the right unit, every time.
- Build and pack shipments to spec: box weight/dimension limits, box-content data, dunnage, and labeling.
- Palletize and shrink-wrap shipments for LTL pickup when required.
- Stage outbound shipments and confirm carrier/label accuracy before handoff.
- Keep accurate counts and update quantities in the system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; keep prep stations stocked.
- Support cycle counts, restocking, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable and punctual — on time, every scheduled day.
- Strong attention to detail; able to follow written prep specs exactly.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing/moving for full shifts.
- Basic computer literacy (scanning, data entry, following on-screen instructions).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle boxes/pallets throughout the shift.
- Communicates issues early rather than letting them pile up.
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
- Prior Amazon FBA or e-commerce fulfillment experience.
- Familiarity with Seller Central, FNSKU labeling, or shipment creation.
- Experience with barcode scanners, label printers, or WMS software.
- Pallet jack / forklift experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for the full shift.
