At Superior Fence & Rail, every successful installation starts in the warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a key role in preparing materials, supporting installation crews, and helping maintain an organized operation that keeps jobs moving efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing things the right way, and understands that attention to detail matters. When installers leave with the right materials and jobs are prepared correctly, customers get a better experience, and you'll be a big part of making that happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare materials for upcoming installation jobs
- Read Bills of Materials (BOMs) and accurately pull fencing components
- Assist with job staging to ensure crews have everything needed for installation
- Prepare materials for installation, including routing vinyl, cutting pickets, and other fabrication tasks
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming material deliveries
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard
- Assist with inventory counts and material organization
- Support the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and forklifts (training provided if needed)

- Installation crews receive complete and accurate materials
- Jobs are staged correctly and ready on time
- Materials are prepared accurately and efficiently
- The warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe
- Minimal material errors, shortages, or job delays
Qualifications
Experience:
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment is a plus
- Experience using basic hand and power tools preferred
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move fencing materials safely (50lbs +)
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified)
