Warehouse Associate /Delivery Driver

J&K Home Furnishings / Mattress ZZZs is a retail furniture and mattress store that started in 1998. Since then we’ve grown to 6 retail locations with a new warehouse location (fully air conditioned!) opening shortly in Myrtle Beach. With our recent growth we are excited to have an opening in our operations department for a warehouse associate and delivery driver. If you have previous warehouse or delivery experience and are ready to join our dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Pay is $13 - $16/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Assists with loading and unloading merchandise
• Maintains stock and retail area, keeping it organized and clean.
• Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations..
• Responsible for ensuring on-time and professional deliveries to our customers
• Must have team-player mentality
• Must be able to handle transfer deliveries in a professional manner

Job Requirements:

• Previous Warehouse or Delivery experience preferred, not required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Able to work at both warehouse locations (Longs and Little River, SC) – schedule will show either warehouse day at one of those locations or delivery day.
• Clean driving record, background & drug screen required
• Must have ability to read a map and follow directions
• Must be able to work Saturdays and holidays
• Heavy lifting required, must be able to lift 100 lbs
• Full-time opportunity (40 hours a week)
