Description

The Bargreen Ellingson weekend crew is looking for experienced warehouse workers. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow from order picking, item put away, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.  Coming in with a great attitude and work ethic will put you on the path to promotion. We like to promote within the company.

The position is Friday through Sunday 7am to 8pm which provides 4 days off a week.  

1hr lunch (non-paid) and 15min breaks (paid) throughout your shift.

• Weekend team also hosts our own potlucks so if you know your way around a kitchen, you are encouraged to bring a delicious dish.

Manager note:- I work weekends and only respond to applications during work hours. Do not feel discouraged if you haven't heard back from me. I will mostly respond on Friday's and Saturday's. 

Job Description

Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse.
• Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
• Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed, clean warehouse.
• Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away.
• Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
• Participate in inventory events as scheduled.
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required. Maintain presentable equipment appearance, cleaning as needed.
• Assist in performance of year-end physical inventory for the warehouse, this may include working overtime or another shift if necessary.
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
• Must maintain an insurable driving record.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

? To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

? Must be 18 years or older 

? High school diploma or Equivalent 

? Flexible work schedule and regular attendance is necessary with possibility for mandatory overtime.

? Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure 

? Desire to succeed in a high growth, fast-paced retail environment 

? Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Physical Requirements

? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms. 

? Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

? Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs. 

? Constant use of fork truck, picker and reach to lift, move and place product.

? Must be able to safely tolerate heat or cold depending on weather / warehouse temperature.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. Apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine.
