The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing the accurate processing of receiving inventory from vendors and intra-company transfers. This position also helps in the process of pulling customer orders, shipping, and inventory counts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift, four-wheel cart, and scales.
Retrieve pallets of material from freight trucks and/or containers.
Check incoming purchase orders and transfers for accuracy.
Inspect goods for defects and report damaged or defective material/product to the supervisor or receiving clerk.
Place received material in the appropriate bin or designated area.
Monitor movement and progress of incoming purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Retrieve stock to fulfill orders.
Order picking, packing, wrapping, labeling products, and shrink-wrapping orders that are palletized according to a standard operating procedure, making a note to follow any special instructions on orders with customer-specific requests.
Load finished products/orders onto trucks. Transport stock from storage to warehouse or where needed.
Load or unload material inbound or outbound.
Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Assist in counting of physical inventory.
Wear the proper safety equipment and always abide by safety rules.
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
Ability to follow instructions from management.
Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety requirements
Communication Proficiency both verbal and written.
Organization Skills
Mathematical Skills
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
P21 software experience with knowledge of WWMS (wireless warehouse management system) a plus.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer knowledge.
Previous fastener industry experience.

Reach with hands and arms.
Speak and hear.
Frequently stand, walk, crouch or kneel.
Occasionally required to sit and climb and/or balance.
Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, 50 pounds, 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
