Warehouse Complex, Forklift Product Handler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Complex Forklift Product Handler is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding the receipt, inventory, movement, storage, and shipment of multiple SS Steiner and Steiner customer hop products. 

• Follow all guidelines for work safety and good manufacturing process.
• Operate a forklift. 
• Ensure load matches order before the vehicle exits the complex.
• Maintain a broad, in-depth knowledge of the products and warehouse operations. 
• Possess alertness and adaptation to warehouse routines.
• Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Follow all food safety and hygiene policies. 
• Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product.
• Maintains accurate documentation for all related activities and completes forms and reports.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Performs other related duties as directed. 

Requirements

Experience, Education, and Licensure/Certification Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license preferred. 
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• At least two years of work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, working at heights, climbing,   pushing, pulling, twisting, and stooping).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, loud, and labor-intensive environment in variable temperatures (from outdoor heat to indoor refrigerated coolers). 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
