Warehouse Compliance, OSHA and Fire Protection(NFPA) Specialist - 1894087 - Join a Market Leader

Overview: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Compliance, OSHA and Fire Protection (NFPA)

Specialist to join our team at our New Jersey warehouse office. The ideal candidate will have

approximately 3-4 years of experience, a strong background in OSHA compliance, fire

protection systems, and warehouse setup. Experience in conducting risk assessments of

warehouse setups is highly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate must possess an OSHA 30 certification and have experience in warehouse

operations.

The candidate must possess an NFPA training record.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive OSHA compliance programs specific to

warehouse operations.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of the warehouse facility to identify potential

hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems in the

warehouse, including fire alarms, sprinklers and suppression systems.

Conduct thorough risk assessments of warehouse setups to identify potential safety

hazards and implement appropriate controls.

Provide training (& materials) to warehouse staff on OSHA regulations, safety

procedures, and emergency response protocols.

Collaborate with warehouse management to develop and implement strategies to

mitigate risks and improve safety performance.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend

corrective actions.

Stay current with changes in OSHA regulations, fire protection standards, and industry

best practices.

Assist in the development and implementation of other compliance programs as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Approximately 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and compliance.

In-depth knowledge of ISO and CTPAT standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
