Hamshaw Lumber is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently loading building materials for customers while providing excellent customer service. This role also supports daily yard operations including receiving and unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. 

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service


• Build loads for delivery


• Load and unload lumber and building supplies


• Operate forklift


• Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies


• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe lumber yard


• Participate in occasional deliveries

Required Skills:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively


• Follow simple instructions and work well in a team


• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Must pass pre-employment assessments


• Work in outdoor/indoor conditions and lift up to 80lbs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver's license


• Fork Truck certification is a plus


• Weekend, holiday, and special event availability
