CEL is an Irish based 40-year manufacturer, distributor and exporter of electrical switchgear and controls, and related products and services, now focused on the supplying the global Data Centre industry.

Operating from our newly acquired 400,000ft2 facility in Williamsburg, Virginia, we aim to double in size each year for the next three years.

We are seeking a driver / expeditor to facilitate collections / deliveries to and from local vendors. When not performing this duty you will be required to assist with other functions within the Warehouse Department e.g. expedite parts to the production line.  Our ideal candidate will have driving experience and be able to work within warehouse on various duties.

What You'll Be Doing:

Delivery Driver:

·        Transport / collect goods safely and efficiently with a company vehicle, such as a van or light truck, to pick up and deliver materials and equipment within the local environs.

·        Complete inspections to ensure all items being collected are in an acceptable condition.

·        Ensure all loads are secured correctly to prevent damage during transport.

·        Conduct daily inspections of the company vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order and report any issues to your supervisor.

·         Interact professionally with suppliers during deliveries, obtaining signatures and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

General Warehouse Duties:

·        Ensure warehouse environment is kept in a clean, tidy and audit ready condition.

·        Securely pack picked items into boxes, totes, or onto pallets, as needed.

·        Apply correct labels and shipping information to packages and pallets.

·        Stage completed orders in the designated area for loading and shipment.

·        Identify any missing items and ensure issues are escalated to your Team Leader for rectification.

·        Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

·        Follow all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

·        Assist with other general warehouse duties, including inventory counts, as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs. safely and efficiently.

Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Ability to operate hand tools and equipment as required.

What You’ll Need:

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

·        Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

·        Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks.

·        Physical fitness and the ability to consistently lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Experience with vans, forklifts, pallet jacks, and push carts.
