PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Warehouse Ground Stocker is responsible for efficiently and safely stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory at ground level within the warehouse. This role ensures that products are properly stored and accessible for order pickers and other warehouse team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and adheres to all safety and operational procedures.

SHIFT

Swing: Mon - Thurs 2:30 pm to 12:00 am (4 - nine hour shifts) and Fri 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (1 - four hour shift)

Wage

$19.00-$20.50 hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and stock items in designated ground-level storage areas.
• Maintain accurate stock placement based on inventory management guidelines.
• Restock inventory from pallets to ground shelves or floor locations.
• Ensure stock is properly labeled and organized for easy access.
• Monitor and report stock discrepancies or damages.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and warehouse procedures.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to support efficient operations.
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
• Perform duties as workload necessitates.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor about Department issues.
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Knowledge

•  High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehouse or stocking experience a plus, but not required. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. 
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other basic warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
