Job Overview
We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Helper to support daily operations in our Salt Lake City warehouse. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist with receiving, storing, and preparing products for installations and customer pickups. You'll also help maintain a safe, organized work environment and assist with deliveries as needed. Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours/week; may vary based on operational needs)
- Pay: $15–$18 per hour (based on experience)
- Type: Full-time, benefited, non-exempt, at-will
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory with care and accuracy.
- Stage and prep products for installation teams and customer pickups.
- Load and unload materials from company vehicles and delivery trucks.
- Keep inventory labeled, organized, and accounted for.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning warehouse space.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and ladders with safety top of mind.
- Assist with local deliveries as needed, driving company vehicles with professionalism.
- Collaborate with your team to meet daily goals and keep operations running smoothly.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on operation requirements and company needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report check.
- Reliable, punctual, and focused on safety.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Employment offer contingent on a clean, basic background check.
Working & Physical Conditions
- Primarily warehouse-based, with frequent driving and/or outdoor tasks.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, lighting, and noise levels.
- Frequent lifting (50+ lbs with or without accommodation), bending, pushing, and standing (4–8 hours at a time).
- Repetitive tasks and movements—requires comfort with physical routines and the use of safe body mechanics.
- Use of hands and arms to operate tools, handle inventory, and manage materials.
- Operate warehouse tools, ladders, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to efficiently move, store, and manage products.
- Able to communicate clearly in person and through applicable platforms (e.g., text, messaging tools).
- Work in close proximity to others—spatial awareness is key in a shared, active environment.
- Function both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Driving Requirements
- Demonstrate safe driving habits and knowledge of traffic laws.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or designated tools.
- Practice defensive driving techniques.
