POSITION SUMMARY: Warehouse leads are responsible for supply chain management in distribution centers. You will be a key part of our team with responsibility for our warehousing activities. We require a multi-talented and flexible person that can handle a wide variety of shipping, receiving, picking and packing functions. This is a hands-on position that requires you to have computer knowledge.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (the following in only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties)

• Ensure work procedures are being followed and expedite workflow.

• Issue written and oral instructions.

• Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.

• Maintain harmony among workers.

• Assist employees with work process problems.

• Backup for all team personnel within department including manager.

• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

• Work with Warehouse Manager on continuous improvement projects.

• Troubleshoot errors to eliminate the possibility of occurring again.

• Contribute to the daily output of the department.

• Communication and teamwork within and outside the department.

• Load and unload, receive and process shipments out.

• Assist sales with inventory spot checks and general questions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• High school diploma or GED required
• Computer skills
• Automotive knowledge
• Forklift license
• Inventory experience
• UPS Worldship/FedEx ShipManager
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a loud environment
