Warehouse Lead

Position Summary

Process and document warehouse products, report discrepancies, and operate warehouse equipment.

Essential Job Functions

  Assemble and stage product orders

  
  


• 
  

  Receive inbound and ship outbound truckloads

  
  


• 
  

  Report inbound overages and discrepancies

  
  


• 
  

  Unload inbound trucks and assist with loading outbound trucks

  
  


• 
  

  Store products within the warehouse

  
  


• 
  

  Track and report product quality concerns

  
  


• 
  

  Record product information in SAP

  
  


• 
  

  Report shortages, damages, disposals, or acquisitions to management, logistics, and/or transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Safely operate materials handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts

  
  


• 
  

  Count cases and pallets to ensure inventory accuracy

  
  


• 
  

  Process and upload product inventory reconciliation

  
  


• 
  

  Route vehicles and product

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with internal departments to rotate product in warehouse cooler

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and report equipment maintenance needs, including warehouse, cooler, freezer, and forklifts

  
  


• 
  

  Document and process warehouse products including returns and disposals

  
  


• 
  

  Guide and supervise staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, development, coaching, and disciplinary actions

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate operations to achieve warehouse KPIs

  Perform other duties as assigned

  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent


• Two years of warehouse experience


• One year of leadership experience


• Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts

Licenses/Certifications

• Pallet jack and forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)

Environmental / Working Conditions

• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and various shift schedules


• Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, with occasional exposure to higher temperatures

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions


• Frequently required to walk and reach above the head


• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally


• Ability to lift as required for the role


• Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus


• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles


• Noise levels may range from standard office to loud warehouse environments
