Warehouse Lead Assistant

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Warehouse Lead Assistant in Alsip, IL 60803!

Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support process improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse workflows, enhance safety protocols per OSHA standards, and increase operational efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting and materials movement.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline 3PL operations.
• Oversee team management tasks such as assigning duties and maintaining high safety standards.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and ensure all warehouse activities adhere to safety guidelines.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
From 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Starting pay: $17.50 HR / Bi-weekly pay
(The pay may be negotiable based on experience).

Requirements:
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with all team members.​
• Own transportation to get to work on time.
• At least 2 years of warehouse and sit-down forklift experience.
• Proficient in computer (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Immediate availability is preferred.​
• Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must have steel toe boots to work.
