Warehouse Lead
Location:  Spring, TX 77386
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 /hr

Job Description
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring materials and equipment are organized, maintained, and inventoried accurately. They will lead the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient operations, while also coordinating with other departments to support their material needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Maintain and update inventory records. Ensure all materials and equipment are correctly logged, stocked, and easily retrievable.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Coordinate repairs when necessary.
Ordering Supplies: Ensure stock levels are maintained. Order new supplies and equipment as needed while coordinating with the finance department regarding budget.
Safety Compliance: Implement and oversee safety protocols within the warehouse. Regularly train staff on safety practices and procedures.
Team Leadership: Manage the warehouse staff, delegate tasks, and ensure operations run smoothly. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with other teams, especially the Mitigation Technician team, ensuring they have the materials and equipment they need for their jobs.
Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout. Regularly reassess and optimize storage solutions.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory levels. Ensure all records are updated promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reduce costs, or enhance efficiency.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous coursework or certification in logistics or supply chain management is beneficial.
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
Proficiency with inventory management software and tools.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
