Our Operations Department is looking for an intermediate level warehouse associate with an emphasis on shipping and receiving to work with our Warehouse team.  Compensation is $16-$20 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform basic general warehouse duties with direction from Supervisor


• Properly pick and pack items according to company standard


• Transact and process material in the warehouse system


• Perform basic shipping/receiving duties


• Safely loads and unloads truck with a pallet jack


• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organized


• Comply with Company’s Safety and Occupational Health Policies and Procedures


• Prepare and organize orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule


• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate and ensure all goods are in excellent condition


• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor


• Ensure all tasks assigned are completed within daily scheduled deadlines

Qualifications: 

• Ability to perform routine, repetitive transactions with a high level of accuracy


• Ability to work autonomously as well as efficiently with department heads and associates to perform assigned duties


• Ability to re-prioritize one’s activities to deal with various conditions or conflicting requests and work under pressure


• Adaptive to workload peaks and need for OT


• Able to regularly lift and /or safely lift and handle heavy loads, both manually and with devices


• Read, understand and carry out written instructions


• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills


• Basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite


• Forklift experienced an asset


• Knowledge of ISO 9001 working environment an asset
