Immediate Openings for a Logistics Coordinator in Romeville, IL
Long term temp to hire opportunity on 1st shift
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure the warehouse operation has a constant stream of work on the floor
- Ensure inbound dock doors are assigned
- Ensure all orders are allocated for by dispatch date
- Provide updates to customers on statuses of shipments
- Verify PO#s for shipments
- Ensure Bill of Ladings and Shipping paperwork are ready for shipments
- Allocate outbound shipments
- Other Shipping and receiving and warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements for position:
- Previous 2+ years in multi-customer warehouse enviroment
- Working knowledge of supply chain and shipping and receiving
- Experience working with bill of ladings and other WMS systems
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and excel programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
