Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, put-away, repairs/refurbishment, and preloading of furniture and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, audits, and process improvements.
• Manage warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Implement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA and local fire/safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety through weekly meetings, coaching, and hands-on participation.

Staff Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage warehouse personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and cross-training to ensure coverage across all roles.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide timely feedback to enhance team performance.
• Participate in labor planning and scheduling to maximize productivity.

Process Improvement & Strategy

• Establish and monitor KPIs to drive operational excellence and high-quality customer service.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reductions.
• Implement innovative strategies to enhance productivity and workflow across the department.

• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead and oversee a team of 15–20 hourly employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, database management, and spreadsheet creation; comfortable with email and internet-based tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working both on the warehouse floor for extended periods and at a desk in an office setting.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
